Why we consider ourselves 'multi'media designers

September 2011

App development, print work, e-commerce sites, multiple 3D projects, full CMS websites, logo design - and very James Bond 'top secret' graphics

The new Lecht multimedia and live feed website goes live to critical acclaim

the revised and improved Lecht website (http://www.lecht.co.uk)

Following on from the resounding success of their first Deepblue-designed website, the Lecht 2090 commissioned us to produce a new Web 2.0 CMS full site detailing the centre's summer and winter operations. The new site, which features a full screen background and panel feeds, was designed completely from scratch. Deepblue took the best elements of its previous work on the site and refined them even further, stripping out the need for Adobe Flash and making the site easier and quicker to use in all respects. We also improved the reports from the centre and live weather feeds and imaging. Lastly, we set up social media feeds from Twitter and Facebook, delivered inline on the page as well as setting up a dedicated Lecht video channel. The site also features an innovative summer/winter switch which will completely change the look and feel of the site in winter months - as simple as flicking a switch.

A new app for global oil company CSL produced for Iphone, Android and Blackberry

Glogal oil and gas giants, CSL, have asked Deepblue to produce a new App for the company for use on Iphone, Android and Blackberry Operating Systems. The new App is already taking shape and we expect final delivery around the middle of September - dependant upon Apple's rigorous acceptance policy to the App store (which, from experience, is random in exactly how long it can take). Updates to follow.
